Towns

Throughout the world you can find different Towns. Each Town is a PVP safe zone, and has it's own economy. Towns will often purchase items that they do not have access to (Forest Towns will be interested in items from Deserts).

Each town sells a number of Plots of land, of which you can purchase and build houses or shops safely. Your buildings and chests will be grief protected within your plots!!!

Wilderness

Any location that isn't a town is Wilderness. Here, PVP is on - however, unless you are a Bandit, you will actually gain nothing for killing other players (Apart from a bounty on your head).

In the wilderness you cannot protect your chests, only your doors. You can grief peoples houses, and steal their loot. Therefore it's recommended you hide your houses, or earn enough money to purchase a plot in a city.

Economy/Roleplay

The economy and the RP aspect are intertwined. You can pick from a number of jobs (Explained below), and you can make money by performing certain actions. On top of this, you can then sell your goods at your own store.

However, if you don't want to gather items you can always play as a trader. A trader can purchase items from stores, and then sell them at different cities by travelling through the wilderness. To protect them from Bandits, they can hire Guards (Players) to protect them.

Want to live the dangerous and evil life? You can play as a Bandit! You will be paid for every player you kill, and you'll get to keep their loot. However, you will become shunned by the community and you may find yourself having a Bounty on your head!

You run shops through Signs, so Chests are not required!

PVP/PVE

The Wilderness is a strict PVP zone. You can and will be killed by other players. To defend yourself against players, you should hide your buildings, or build in a town. Remember, the further away you are from a city, the longer you have to travel to sell your goods.

Towns are a strict PVE, no griefing zone (with a large number of mods to help you). Any chest you place in a plot you own you automatically become protected and you can protect your doors if you wish. In towns, you can set up safe homes for storing loot, or player run shops to sell items.
Plots are expensive! You will need to spend time in the wilderness before you can receive the protection of a town! This is intentional, to add some challenge to the game!

Dragon Invasions

Currently, each city is experiencing Dragon Invasions. Each Dragon has its own Age, Health, Damage output and Rewards for being killed. Dragon's will attack each city randomly throughout the day, with stronger dragons appearing less often than younger ones.

Soon, we hope to add monetary rewards for defeating such mighty monsters. At the moment, you receive a large amount of EXP and Server Recognition

Jobs
More Jobs may be added later on...
Each job can be leveled to a maximum of 10. Each level will x your income by your job level. (Example: Level 10 Woodcutters will earn 10x more per log then they would at level 1.

Click to reveal
Woodcutter: You explore the wilderness searching for the many different logs to cut down. Whilst all logs aren't worth that much to chop, you will be earning most of your money supplying players with large quantities of wood! However, once you reach Level 10, woodcutting becomes an extremely profitable profession!

Miner: The Capital City purchases players Ingots, but as a Miner you'll also get paid for digging them out of the ground. You can control the material market by selling your products to other players, for more than you'd sell them to the Capital City perhaps.
Whilst you can get rich as a miner, you'll also be targeted by Bandits for your goods!

Farmer: Arguably the richest profession if you do it right. You will supply the Players with their food and animal products. You are paid for each crop you harvest, each seed you sow and each animal you kill. However, there are not many cities with large areas to grow crops - so you may find yourself in the wilderness. There you may find your farms under attack by Bandits... perhaps hire a few guards to protect your area?

Hunter: Hunters are paid for killing Monsters and Animals. They supply the players with Monster and Animal drops. Be careful though Hunters, for you'll be on the surface a lot... easy prey for a Bandit perhaps?

Guard: Guards are paid for each person they kill, and each Monster they slay. Be warned though, you should only kill Bandits. If you kill enough innocent players then you may be shunned by the community and a large Bounty placed upon your head. Perhaps stick to killing Bandits and monsters?

Bandits: Make no mistake. You may live in the Wilderness primarily, but you'll be rich. You receive a sum of money per player kill, and you get to keep their stuff. You can raid wilderness homes and chests for any goods laying around the place. However, the Community and it's players may dislike you - and you may find the Bounty Hunters calling for your blood.

Alchemist: Alchemists are paid for each process of potion-making. It is incredibly expensive to start out, for the ingredients are expensive/hard to come by, but once you gain experience then you'll be producing large quantities of potions at a profit, and then you'll be able to sell them for even more! Currently, there aren't many alchemists on the server, so there is a high demand!

Blacksmiths: Blacksmiths make their money by crafting Armour and Swords. They'll earn more money for better quality items. They also receive money for repairing items. At the start, Blacksmiths will not turn much of a profit, if any, if they purchase Ingots from Miners. Later levels, however, Blacksmiths become one of the richest professions - supplying every other job with their required protection. They also receive an income from enchanting their finished products!

Tool-smiths: A Tools Smith is exactly like a Blacksmith, but instead of crafting Armour and Weapons, they craft, repair and enchant Iron and Diamond tools!

Fisherman: A simple profession, the Fisherman makes an income by simply fishing. They will receive higher pay for fishing rarer items, such as Saddles and Name-tags, which they can then sell for a very high price to players!

Bounty Hunting

Anyone can be a Bounty Hunter. ShadowCraft has its own bounty system, whereby anyone can place a Bounty on another's head, and other players may accept these contracts. The first person to complete the contract takes the money.

Minigames

Minigames are a nice way to earn money, if you're good at them!

Choose from a variety of minigames, from solo-parkour to group PVE raids!

Most minigames have different difficulty levels, so you can practice your way up!

We will put a list of Minigames here soon!
